After a long days drive to Biloela and a late 5pm meeting due to very intensive roadworks, a last minute trip to Biloela saw me hunting down accommodation in town from the car park of the local Council.
After the 6th attempt I was almost about to drive to another town, however the Raintree Motel had one room left, its disability access room.
A very comfortable room, well appointed with luxurious recliner chair, roll in shower etc. I didn't mind one bit as it was seemingly the only room left in town on what would be a quiet Tuesday night. Apparently the roadworks and other infrastructure projects in the area have made accommodation something of a premium commodity at this time. Too tired to even turn on the television..after a pizza (average quality) but it was made and baked on-site so I didn't have to drive any further that evening, a few glasses of wine, and a commercially made cheesecake and ice-cream...I was quickly to bed and out like a light.
