The cabin is tasteful, spotless, roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. It has large windows looking out at the forest, a spacious patio with the same view, and there is an easy walking track through the forest. Christina and Thomas are very good at attracting animals to feeders without over-feeding them, which makes it easy to see a lot of neat wildlife during your stay. We particularly enjoyed the king parrots and a possum that visited us nightly. The walking track takes you by an immense orange-footed scrubfowl nest mound, and their calls can be heard from the cabin. Christina is an excellent naturalist, and can help you identify most of the plants and animals on the property. The property is large enough that you will not see or hear anyone (except the owners) else while you are there. Despite the cabin's feeling of remoteness, there are small towns nearby where you can buy groceries, and a number of very different and beautiful nature reserves nearby. I can only say nice things about our stay there, and found Christina to be by far the kindest and most helpful host imaginable. And to top it all off, the price is a bargain.
We really enjoyed staying in this peaceful, beautiful location with something to look at all the time.
We didn't even want to leave the veranda, there are so many birds around.
The cabin is beautifully kept and equipped and very comfortable.
The hosts, Christina and Thomas, are very friendly and helpful.
We are looking forward to visiting again for a longer stay."
