Fantastic day out with the family. We packed a picnic lunch and used the picnic table and seats available for all their visitors. You can buy lunch there, or use the facilities bbq's! Later we all strolled through the park stopping at each display to watch the mini show and listen to the stories and rhymes. The is a playground for children to play and signs with head holes for the children to have photos taken as a character.

Fairy park is 30 mins from Avalon airport and a great place to stop before flying w young kids. The park needs a little bit of maintenance but all the attractions are working and it is a magical place for little ones. Very affordable $18 per adult $10 for kids and free for 2yo and under. Takes about 1.5hrs I would imagine, we rushed through in just over an hour. Great playground :)

I must be a big kid at heart and at 58 years old. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves looking at the incredible exhibits. They certainly brought back memories of our childhood listening to nursery rhymes. I can see why this Park will celebrate its 60th birthday later this year. May it give pleasure for years to come - it deserves to. Great value. Good snacks at reasonable prices.

We took the grandkids during the school holidays to Fairy Park.
Perfect! They had an absolute ball!
Us old dogs didn't mind so much either.
Displays were quite delightful, with many of the old fairy tales on display, plenty of which we had forgotten about, some of which the youngsters had not yet heard of.
Plus an exceptionally good playground area, in which we could see many not so young adults having a great time.
It is not cheap, and there is the odd bit that could do with some maintenance, but the kids loved it, and it is fairly unique. Well worth a visit!

Very nice place to remind yourself of all the fairy tales.. impressive details of all characters and recreating the stories. If u are a big fan of fairy tales (or your kid is) they will be over the moon!
Negative: Big park but only 1 set of toilets, would have helped to have 1 more around the musuem/train areas.. lack of staff to help.. parking needs some maintenance..
Surely management can do better- just increase the price by $2 each and use it to upgrade parking and a new set of toilets.
Other than those few things- really nice park for younger kids.. the playground is just amazing..i don’t know any kid who wouldn’t have a ball there!!!
