My girlfriend and I arrived at this restaurant with no expectations, and were pleasantly surprised by the rustic setting and quality of service - the two sons working the floor were friendly, attentive and good for a laugh.
Our dinner arrived promptly and was reasonably good, and all in all the night was very enjoyable - right up until the owner/chef/matriarch commanded the attention of the restaurant for a 15-20 minute treatise on the history of the factory, the restaurant, her forebears, which room they died in, her children, her children's partners, her children's ex's, and so on.
Although this level of information may be of interest to some, I'd suggest not all patrons are interested in their dining experience being interrupted by self indulgent, unsolicited babble - save that for those willing to pay $10 for the daily tour.
