Well worth the money paid for it along with the lightly toasted bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese and capers...... Yum Yum Yum.

“Found this incredible place completely by accident”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

Didn't know this place existed until I saw the turnoff to this incredible attraction by accident when trying to find my way into the main town on the A300 Hwy. I am very glad I stopped and had a look. The grounds are just beautiful and there is a short steep walk up the pathway but don't let that put you off. There is so much to see and do, you could easily spend all day there either inside or wandering the gardens. The $5 entry fee is worth it.Thee are a few different levels and while it's been modernised you can feel the history especially when you visit the old infirmary upstairs or the museum downstairs. Also there are narrow staircases - some wooden, some carpeted.

“Must do this.”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

Wonderful gardens, fascinating old building and interesting art exhibitions. Restaurant and bar both good. The bar is quirky, and the restaurant a light lovely place to be. Excellent service in the restaurant and galleries. Enjoyed the visit, and would love to return.

“lunch & art”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

The food and service here was excellent. We had a very tasty lunch followed by a walk through the gallery and finished off with a cocktail at the alter bar. Was a fantastic afternoon.
