This restaraunt is a 5 minute walk just past the star if you are staying at the travelodge or the felbridge hotel. (By the bp garage). The all you can eat menu from Sunday to Thursday is superb value.

Found staff to be very rude and ignorant, when enquiring about the menu my partner was sneered at and then the member of staff turned her back to my partner to gesticulate to another member of staff. Extremely rude and I would have quite happily left at that point, but we agreed to stay and the food was indeed of decent quality if somewhat overpriced. Also, a 10% service charge is automatically added to your final bill.....will not be using this restaurant again.

We have been to this Restaurant before and really enjoyed the experience however on this occasion all aspects of the evening including Service, Food & Ambience were very poor.

The Staff were disinterested to the point of rudeness. The food was unappetising and generally tasteless. Considering the Restaurant wasn't busy we were stuck in a dark corner away from other diners.

On the positive side the two fish tanks are spectacular.

Went to the Emperor (as usual) for a small celebration. The friends we went with had not been there before are fish/seafood averse, but the menu was more than large enough to satisfy all of us. Excellent starter selection including very tasty soft shelled crabs. Peking duck just as it should be, and sizzling lamb as one of the main couses had incredible flavours. Some people might be put off by the service which is not quick, but we like a break between courses. Wonderful toffee apple/banana for pudding.
Excellent staff. On two previous visits we have had real difficulty getting a taxi home, so the owner offered (and did) take us home in her car.
If there are no more than four of you, book a booth.
