This was our 6th stay at Whittlebury and we are going in July too. It is a fantastic hotel and great value for money if you book one of there 'Events'. We are going back with a group of 20 friend in July for one of their fantastic Tribute Nights, we have already been to 3 Tribute nights there and gradually our group gets bigger and bigger as more and more people want to come.
We pay £140 per couple for a tribute night and this includes: Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, all of which are fantastic, plus the tribute act with a disco after until 12.30. The disco has the best atmosphere ever, everyone is up dancing on or off the dance floor.
When we go, the 'boys' all play golf at the fantastic course next to the hotel, and the 'girls' chill in the spa. You can go to the pool with two saunas, a jacuzzi and a steam room, this is all included in your stay. Or you can pay £27.50 and go into the Heat and Ice Experience - this is so relaxing and well worth it (although my husband said it was relaxing, but more of a girls thing) It does get very busy in the pool area and the Heat and Ice part at the weekend, but just enjoy it!
The food it fantastic - even the Tribute night food, considering they are making dinner for around 250 people all to come out at the same time, it is great!
The rooms are lovely, we have been in good sized rooms, to huge rooms - it tends to be the luck of the drawer.
To sum it all up, we love Whittlebury - embarrassingly if there was a fan club, I am sure I would join (if not have started it). However NO NOT GO HERE! Because I don't want it to be mobbed next time we visit!
