Was taken as a birthday present from my 10 year old Grandson. The staff were really chilled (as were the Llamas) and passed on loads of info. My grandson grinned all the way round the roughly hour walk through woodland as he led our Llama round. Finished the afternoon with a visit to the nursery to see the baby and new mums. Too way to spend a couple of hours.

My husband bought me this as a Xmas present. It was a perfect day out. The animals were so well kept and clearly loved. The hosts Mary and Sarah took us on the trek, they were so friendly and knowledgable and able to answer all the questions everyone had about these adorable creatures.
I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to go to somewhere where they can be assured that the animals welfare is of top priority.

Can you spot the Alpaca? A beautiful day of wall to wall sunshine was the backdrop to our Llamafest. We were talked through the experience and introduced Llama geography and biology by a long-standing member of the team Abby. She was our guide and introduced us to our Llamas in the barn and we’re shown how to control them on a halter. This was necessary as Llamas are quite jumpy/skittish. From the barn we set off for a walk round fields and down a country lane for a couple of hours with a short water break. After coming back to the farm yard, we were taken to see the new baby Llamas, one of which was less than 24 hours old. A super morning’s walk was topped off by lunch in the Crown Inn, Weston - not to be missed!!

Had a wonderful morning at Catanger Llamas. Sarah and Abbie were extremely friendly and there is a lovely relaxing vibe about the farm with dogs pottering about and llamas grazing in the fields. We were carefully matched with our llamas and after a briefing set off to walk in very pretty countryside. My llama, Yarrow, was a sweetheart, very shy at first but by the end of the walk he was happy to be stroked and that's what made the morning so special. Each llama has a distinct personality and you have to win their trust which means you have to concentrate and completely immerse yourself, so what appears to be on paper just a walk turns out to be very mindful and relaxing as you think about one thing, your llama. After the walk we met some adorable baby llamas and then enjoyed a picnic next to one of the paddocks. Can't recommend Catanger Llamas highly enough, it was a delight and I am already planning another visit.
