We visited the tall chimney with our 2 young children. We were greeted by the friendly team and were lucky to sit in one of the booths with tv screens.
On the day we went in it was kids eat for £1 with every main meal ordered....bargain!!
The kids loved it, not only could they watch the tv but they could colour and take a balloon each home!
The food was good and portion sizes were more than ample especially the slices of cakes from the cakeaway fridge!!!
Would defo recommend and by far the best pub in swadlincote!!

We visit this location often, we have always found it to be great value for money with a good quality drinks and food menu.
The new menu is fab, and the kids loved there food in a basket idea, i still love the steak and ribs though :-)
The service is always good and the staff friendly, i would suggest going early doors though, as it does get VERY busy!
Overall, its still the best place to eat and drink in Swad, infact for miles.
See you again soon :-)

The main was lovely but we had ordered our puddings left our drinks at the table to nip outside for a fag to come back to our tables where are drinks had been taken for the manager to be really rude and say we shouldn't of left them and expected us to leave it there but we went and spoke to the bar man who had appolagized and was accommodating only for the manager to again come over and continue to be rude and indimadating. This is unacceptable customer service.

Always busy, so that speaks for itself...?!! Good pub grub, but nothing exceptional. Staff good, with a nice welcome

We went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, needless to say it was busy with lots of families. We managed to find seats which were a bit of a squeeze especially with a high chair added onto the end. The food is cheap and cheerful, quantity not quality but if you want big portions of microwaved pub grub then this is the place for you. I felt sorry for some older people who came in and had real trouble locating a table and didn't seem to get any help from the staff around who could clearly see that they were struggling.
