Have been here several times with the family (usually on as Saturday teatime after the cinema) and with hubby (of a lunch-time) and have neve been disappointed with the standard of the food. It caters well for the kids, supplying colouring sheets and crayons, and the mini telly's are an added bonus

Called in after shopping and found a table, ordered food which came very quickly.
Was very average in quality and portion size
Was spooky by children on other table misbehaving and throwing washers around
The service was probably the best thing the waitress was very helpful and tried to control the kids

Have been here several times and have never had a bad meal, it is what it is! The portions are large and the staff pleasant. Can get a bit noisy round the bar area expecially if the football is on and can occasionally be a while before you get served your drinks.

It is very close to where i live and it has special offers on all the time. Child friendly with its x boxes and playstations and televisions in the booths. Nice place to relax with friends or family.

Nice variation on a Wetherspoons if you're after a quick bite to eat with friends in a good convenient location. Staff all very cheerful, chatty and down to earth which can understandably seem unprofessional to some, but for me just adds to the laugh. Food has seen a big improvement over the last few months after a menu change- went when it first opened before heading to the cinema just aross the carpark, only to have mine and my boyfriend's nights ruined after each receiving inedible burgers that looked and smelt like compressed cat food in ciabatta :( Made a mental note not to visit in future, unless simply to have a drink (fairly impressive selection of ciders, spirits and lagers for a chain pub, and at good prices, in a big, modernish place with a lovely atmosphere). Despite this, when meeting friends there recently, was bullied into ordering food and was pleasantly surprised :) Although I felt my 'burrito' was disappointing and overpriced, my friends' burgers were great and very cheap :) My advice: don't be too adventurous!! The curry/ burger and a pint deals are certainly 'the one'- but don't forget to leave room for one of their mightily good desserts, too! I would always go for the sharer- the 'Millionaire's Candymania' or something like that- as it seems to be the best value for money, but would advice 3 or more people sharing if you don't want to turn finishing it into a sickly chore haha!! Would recommend :D
