“Lovely Place”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

Sadly only stayed for one night but it was very clean and comfortable, lovely large room with comfortable chesterfield sofa, what a pleasure to have comfortable seating in a room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast excellent, first class. The only downside is the aircraft noise, but at this time of the year it is not constant. Would stay again.

My daughter and I stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. All staff we met seemed to genuinely love the place too which was refreshing and encouraged us to explore the little sitting rooms, dining room and beautiful gardens. The room we stayed in (Room 2) was very pink but absolutley perfect for us. The whole place was very well cared for and not a speck of dust to be seen which was amazing as every room was tastefully furnished with a large variety of ornaments ec. very in keeping of the character of the house. Breakfast was everything you could ask for including personal service of the chef and everything cooked to order in front of you. We loved the large family style breakfast table which encouraged chatter with fellow guests. Just wonderful and can't wait ti visit again

Stayed for one night stop over before travelling onto Yorkshire. What a gem, the owner was a very friendly lady, who made a brilliant breakfast, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, and ad all the facilities for a comfortable stay, wish we could have stayed longer. The garden was pristine and a credit to the owner. Thank you Kegworth House.

Room Tip: The pink room was lovely.

Second stay, and just as good as the first. Staff are excellent, rooms are very comfortable, breakfast is to die for and served on the large kitchen table very friendly. Car parking is spacious and secure. 100yds down the road a great local pub The Red Lion, certainly 'spit and sawdust' but v friendly and great local beers. Good curry restaurant round the corner, I need to be in Loughborough which is only 12 minutes away.happiness.

We stayed in the Bridal suite (it was half price at the time) and it was just excellent - we have never been anywhere like it!! Not sure whether we'd pay the full price but seeing a sleigh bed that comfortably took my 6'4" husband was worth the half price deal alone! Breakfast is excellent too with a really friendly chef and a range of food like I have never seen before- cereal, ham, cheese, full english, you name it, it was there! a gem of a place as plenty others have agreed and excellent for romance!

Excellent location on M1 for our stop overnight! In a beautifully refurbished 17th century building with lovely walled garden. We had a spacious suite under the roof with apparent beams. Beautiful village with 15th to 17th century cottages and churchyard, not far from the river Soar to stretch legs after long drive. Wonderful hosts and excellent breakfast complete the picture. Only disturbance: airplanes from nearby East Midlands airport, but this can be very convenient, too!

I stayed at this b&b on a business trip, it was lovely. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and it was such nice weather my colleague and I had a drink in the garden before leaving for our evening meeting

The b&b may be close to the Kegworth White House where I have stayed before but there is no comparison, this is definitely the place to stay in Kegworth

Well deserves 5stars
