We undertook a walk in the Dales that was more arduous than we had expected. Half way round we happened upon this pub in the early afternoon. The landlord could not have been friendlier or more obliging. The garden was beautifully kept and the food was of absolutely stunning standard. I also enjoyed a couple of pints of Timothy Taylor which had been well kept. We had Croque Monsieur, lasagne, the Plough burger and cous cous? The latter portion was a little small but otherwise it was excellent and just what we wanted. I would thoroughly recommend a visit and will be returning myself
