A lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and a good menu including lunchtime specials. Selection of real ales and ciders.

We had a wonderful time, great food, cozy and warm and live music here. An putside area for warmer weather and you will find the barman very friendly with a good sense of homour.

We called in for sunday lunch. The bar had 3 regular and 3 guest ales available and, I believe, cider too for those that prefer it. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive.
The food was beautifully cooked and a good sized portion. They also do a smaller size meal for the older client.
Well worth a visit for a beer even if not dining

This old pub serves delicious homemade food at decent prices and the food tastes like it was made with loving care by somebody's nanna! Generous portions and a good variety of veg served with the main course. Veggies are catered for, staff are friendly and the open fires are welcoming on a cold day.
