Detailed information available on website about accessibility under their 'Risk Assessment'. This was very helpful. Plenty of car parking at the foot of the steps leading to the cavern. The steps are quite steep but in small groups with handrails and a seat halfway. The website says that if you can climb the steps then you can get round the cavern - this is true. They now have toilets inside the building - there is no need to descend the steps outside to get to the old toilets. The tour goes regularly and lasts around 40 minutes. There are handrails and anti-slip material underfoot. They also go at the pace of the slowest person. The caverns themselves are quite spectacular and our guide was very informative. There are lots of beautiful pieces to buy in the shop, many of them created from material taken from these caverns. Good food available in the cafe at reasonable prices.
