There's lots to see and do. The staff were all very helpful and were willing to just chat about everything there was to see. There's a room where you could learn to make a variety of toys and a very helpful lady who did demonstrations and gave very good advice on where you can buy the material to make toys. The food in the cafe was very nice. Lots to buy in the shop including a wide selection of fudge at a very reasonable price. The museum is free to National Trust members.

Great fun, but restaraunt was very slow and expensive with a 'captive' audience.....same experience on a few trips here. Enjoy the grounds and play area too, excellent parking a short walk from the museum. The house is a wonderful experience for adults.

My children and I found this fascinating. Originally I went as I thought the kids would find this fun. However, I also found it a very thought provoking museum and was amused to see some of my own childhood toys in a museum!

Very interesting museum - especially as I can remeber playing with a lot of the toys. The staff on duty were very helpfull in explaining the origin of some of the toys. There were a few hands on toys to see if I could remember how they worked
