Stayed one night b&b and we found the Hotel faultless and the breakfast spot on. The owner Dave was very relaxed but at the same time offered a professional and accommodated service.
Good location for all attractions and shopping needs and nearest Hotel to The Embassy ballroom if you have to attend a function.Car parking is no problem so all in all a value for money experience.

We stayed here using a voucher deal and were pleased to be upgraded on arrival to a 4 poster bed.

Our room was functional but the lack of recent improvement was noticeable, especially in the bathroom.

We enjoyed great service throughout, a couple of nice breakfasts and a tasty dinner. We thought the portions were rather small but it was included in the deal and it certainly met our expectations.

Overall, a good location from which to explore Ashbourne and the nearby Peak District but some updating is needed.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the Station Hotel, and all of the amenities that came with your offer.

The Station Hotel is a period Hotel built in 1901 with extremely large rooms, high ceilings and lots of original features which we pride ourselves that we have managed to conserve. Having only 12 rooms all of our guests we hope are looked after with special care.

Whilst this is our first dip into the water using vouchers offers, none of the amenities, services or rooms that we provide vary in any way at all for our very welcome guests, therefore, we are slightly disappointed that for £69 dinner, bed and breakfast with a free upgrade to a four poster room you felt your room and value should deserve such a low mark! Never mind obviously this is a learning curve for ourselves and we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay.

We look forward to welcoming you both in the future should you return to Ashbourne. David

We were made to feel welcome straight away by the manager Dave and James. The room was a nice size and clean. The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting the Tissington trail and only a couple of minutes walk to the market place in Ashbourne.
We would certainly stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights and couldn't have booked a nicer place to stay. Dave (the host) was sooooooooo lovely and helpful i personally can't praise the man up enough! :)
Old fashioned with a modern twist.
If we ever go to Alton towers again, this will be my first choice of hotels. (only 9 miles away)
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Room Tip: The 4 poster rooms make this hotel what it is. #14 :)

We cannot speak to highly of this hotel and our charming host David. The hotel was every thing we needed for our visit to the area. Our rooms more than adequate and a nice warm bath to relax after a tiring day. The food prepared for us by James was excellent. We recommend the Station Hotel for your visit.

Room Tip: Room 16 has a four poster

Stayed for 2 nights with dinner on first night. A welcoming and excellent value experience. Friendly and accommodating. Large clean room and an enjoyable dinner with good choice. The hotel is ideally situated for walking to the Tissington trail and exploring Ashbourne town centre.
