“Lovely tea and huge portion of cake”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

Lovely tea and huge portion of cakes in the sun watching the market closing up. Excellent range of cheeses on sale in the deli. Few outdoor tables and some indoor.

“Again and again.....”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2013

On a regular basis, we travel the 27 miles from Lichfield to Ashbourne which is a lovely little town in Derbyshire. One of the main reasons is Bramhall's. Yes, there are other eateries in Ashbourne, but we have never been let down by the polite and friendly service, excellent choice and quality of food, the value for money...... oh and the choice of sweets is to die for. The deli is a great addition to the cafe (or is it the opposite way round ?? !!!). We are now looking forward to our next trip in to Ashbourne and of course Bramhall's.

“Good fresh food and excellent service!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2013

Had lunch with a girlfriend yesterday and very much enjoyed the food and service! I had the Huntsman's Pie with a salad and coleslaw on the side. It was lovely and the crust was flaky and the pie was packed with meat and stuffing. The salad was fresh and lightly dressed for a colorful and well presented dish. Thought it was very busy the staff worked hard to keep everyone well cared for. We took home a couple pieces of the 70 cheeses on offer and have enjoyed those tonight. This place has great food and fair prices for a lovely and friendly cafe. It's a very nice addition to Ashbourne!

“A good place to hole up!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 27, 2013

Arrived in Ashbourne with my son and his friend last weekend and chose Bramhall's Cafe to eat in.

On a very cold and snowy day we needed to queue for approx 10 mins because the cafe was busy. All staff were very friendly and obliging. The other diners all seemed to be happy with what they'd been served with. We were not disappointed either.

I returned a coupe of days later and enjoyed lunch with my mother and aunt. Again the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food - despite being on the pricey side - was of good quality.

All in all a nice place to eat at and one I shall be returning to.

“Great warm cafe! Just what we needed after a long walk in the snow!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013 via mobile

We popped in after a long walk.
Very friendly lady welcomed us (in our walking boots)

The cafe was lovely and warm. Clean and tidy, nice decor

I had apple and date crumble pie from the very very long list of homemade cakes!

Would visit again!
