Three of us had lunch in this attractive restaurant, good three course choice. The dishes were of good restaurant standard and service was excellent and unobtrusive. The final bill was only £20 per head,we all had three courses and shared a bottle of wine.We have ate in top class restaurants and this certainly compared except for the price!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the lighthouse. It was the perfect setting for our anniversary and a lovely place for a special sunday lunch. At £20.95 for 3 courses we thought it was excellent value for the quality of food, service and all the little touches such as warm bread, pallete cleanser and warm homemade cookies. Great find, we will be returning.

Fantastic, had always seen the sign on the A515 and wondered what is like then searching trip adviser for Ashbourne saw it was rated highly , now I know why, we have been missing out. It is quiet, intimate, great food, great staff and relaxing evening out, just don't panic when you turn towards Boylestone , it is there.

This small restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere was a pleasant surprise when we went there with a group today. Each meal was prepared and presented with individual care and the whole experience paced evenly to give every diner a good experience. The food was exceptional, particularly the canapés we had on arrival.

My wife & myself recently had lunch at the Lighthouse whilst on holiday in Ashbourne.
It was my wifes birthday, so I emailed Jon the Chef in advance to ask if a cake could be made as a surprise & also to make him aware that she is a coeliac (no gluten in her diet).
Jon was prompt in replying & on the day after an excellent 3 course lunch that was really well cooked & presented, an almond & apple cake was brought out with a candle in, this was also excellent.
This is no ordinary pub meal, so if you want tasty food cooked with style & presentation with attention to detail in surroundings that are light & modern, then please visit this restaurant you will not be disappointed
