We met daughters and 2 grandchildren here for an informal lunch on a Friday in September. Our comfortable table was waiting for us on arrival.
Décor is muted contemporary with attractive soft furnishings. Everything seemed immaculately clean and lovingly maintained.
Friendly and helpful service, good food selection well prepared and attractively presented. We all enjoyed our meals, from healthy salads through children's' meals to a delicious bacon and brie baguette.
Special mention needs to be made of the chips which looked as if they had been properly twice fried: excellently crisp on the outside, soft and tasty on the inside.
Temperature adjustment of baby's bottle was arranged instantly and cheerfully.
Two draught beers - London Pride and Pedigree. Good selection of teas which we enjoyed.
Bill for 4 adults, one child [main meals, drinks and teas afterwards came to £49.
A very pleasant experience: if what you want is a civilised pub meal experience, then this place is highly recommended.
