Wheywrigg hall hotel was a wonderful surprise. The welcome was warm and friendly. Our room lovely. Cleanliness was a perfect 10/10. The food was exceptional, I would go as far as to say the best I have tasted, especially their chips. The bar is warm and friendly.

Agreed with every word that "my visit" said. We had two nights on a deal and it was great. Booked b and b but after touring around all day, Carlisle etc, we decided to stay in and have the evening meal on both nights. Very good idea, good food, no driving, relaxing in the bar with good company. Would definitely go again.

We have just spent three nights at the Wheyrigg Hall Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms where very clean and comfortable, the people where very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious especially the breakfast. The staff and regulars made us feel very welcome. We would definitely stay again.

We spent a very pleasant night at Wheyrigg Hall. Our original room had poor tv reception but moving to another room was no problem for the staff.
The evening menu was very limited for vegetarians. My wife asked for a cheese salad, even though it wasn't on the menu, and was presented with an outstanding 4 cheese salad, the best she has ever had!
Overall excellent!

wasnt planned, just popped in for a spot of lunch on the way back from silloth market.
the only gripe was waiting nearly an hour from sitting down to actually getting food. took nearly 20 minutes just for our order to be taken.
however, the food was absolutley top notch, will return but perhaps a weekday when theres more staff on.
