I have stayed in this hotel once as I travelled to Cumbria for business.
Run down rooms, dreadful décor, no power shower, horrible old bathrooms and rooms.
The only positive about the Chase is the restaurant and free parking.
I would not reccomend it to anyone.
Just love that hotel! Nice and clean room, very good beds, very friendly staff, good food. We will return. No complains at all. Thank you !
Room was tiny, decor old, shabby and faded. Bathroom wasn't clean (far too many suspect hairs in the bath). But by far and away the worst thing about this hotel is the thinness of the walls. I could hear absolutely everything my neighbour did and said (including what he did in his bathroom), and I got no sleep at all because he snored. Do not stay here if you like things clean and/or quiet. Oh, and breakfast was dreadful too.
