Right in the heart of Wasdale, just a few hundred metres walk from the shores of Wast Water, Seatallan Apartment is a lovely little cottage that is the perfect location for the serious (or not so serious) fell walker.

We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. We stayed with our three children and our dog for a week and were very happy with the house. It is a downstairs apartment with a well-equipped kitchen, a nice living room, and a very up-to-date bathroom. There are three bedrooms although it is billed as a two-bedroom apartment. One has a double, one has two singles and the third is very small with a built in bed that is perfect for an older child.
Our kids enjoyed the place very much, there were some games for them inside, and you could not ask for a better location. There are public footpaths in all directions and the Wast Water is a short walk.
There are several nice local pubs and village stores to get some groceries.
Be careful that your GPS does not take you over the Hardknott Pass on the way to Windermere - it is a shorter route but is the steepest, scariest, road in all of Great Britain. However, you can stop and see a Roman Fort on the way, and be amazed that human beings marched up here before anyone built the road.
We would recommend this rental to anyone, it is lovely.
