What a great place. Boats to hire, adventure playground, cafe, beautiful location, picnic areas with lovely views over the lake...if you have kids or not...go!

nice to take dogs round for a run about, however no dog waste bins or litter bins. Not enough to occupy for more than an hour

Nice little walk along the lake, cafe and very small National trust shop. You can hire rowing boats as well. Would imagine a good place to go with kids when the weather is good.

Lovely grounds with access to the lake, rowing boats for hire and a very good coffee shop as well as an icecream stall. The adventure playground for the children was deservedly popular. A perfect place for a picnic with the family - children and granny will all enjoy it.

Very peaceful and relaxing park on the southern shores of Lake Windermere run by the National trust. Lovely short walks and scenery with views across to Lakeside and the steam boats.Try the cafe by the boat slips for refreshments with a view.
