“Fabulous holiday let in amazing location.”
Reviewed February 19, 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Cottage slept 4 adults, 2 children and an infant very comfortably. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely outdoor space. The location cannot be beaten in my opinion, amazing views with walks aplenty on your doorstep (we didn't need to get in the car for the whole weekend) and a great pub 50 meters away with a warm welcome, tasty food and real ales.
Would definitely recommend and will hopefully go back again!

Good news, we have an additional shower room, so it's now two shower rooms and one bathroom.

“Perfect location”
Reviewed June 14, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wastwater cottage. We found the cottage very spacious, well maintained with a comprehensively stocked kitchen, a comfortable bed in the huge master bedroom, a really relaxing lounge space and access to lovely grassed gardens by the beck. Our daughter loved the baby grand piano, which was in tune! Location wise this was ideal for a family as there is plenty of easy access on foot into nature. No long drives necessary to get away from it all. A good selection of three nearby pubs - one very close by - provides an excellent excuse not to cook. The Woolpack has an outdoor ping pong table and space hoppers for the kids. The Eskdale mini steam railway is just a short wander down the road; serving great trips to the coast (try to time with high tide else you will be on mud flats) and great ice cream. Overall, this holiday was super relaxing and staying in such a lovely house really is the icing on the cake.

“A perfect place to stay in the Western Lakes, and with a piano!”
Reviewed August 4, 2011 for a stay in August 2011

Bridge End is a converted farm, with a range of small apartments, a large stand-alone farm cottage, and Wastwater Cottage, a large semi-detached cottage at the end of the row. It has an excellent open plan downstairs, including a piano, and opens out onto a large communal lawn, leading down to the Whillan Beck. Its a stunning place to stay in the Western Lakes, and an excellent base for walking, climbing, and visiting all the attractions in the area.
The cottage has been well converted, with comfy beds, a good kitchen and dining/living area. When the weather is good, we spent all out time eating out in the garden. When it rains, we palyed the piano and sang.
Overall, a perfect place to stay in the Lakes.
