A stunning hiden spot and a must to visit if you like magical places. Walk up to the Black Sail Hostel to find the remotest Youth Hostel in the UK - beautiful. Access to some fantastic walks and mountains. Truley excellent wild campsites available in the local hills.

Whilst not one of the major lakes on the tourist trail, this is one which is well worth a visit if you are near. It is a very pretty lame with some fabulous scenery and a stunning drive to it. Give it a go if you fancy something different to everyone else who will be waiting in a queue at Windermere!!

Great trail around lake but not for the faint hearted or anyone who can't handle heights.
Wonderful views

A difficult place to find but worth it despite being upset about the lack of signage and actual signs of the so called re- wilding project that is meant to be going on there.

Most relaxing and easy if you take it Northbound (longer route). Stunning view and nice woodland path walk.
