Stayed here from the 20th to 23rd April 2019 (hit right on some glorious weather).
The Hotel occupies what was an old school so is a little 'quirky' with regards to the layout but easy to find where everything is. My partner uses a mobility scooter to get around and found no problem going from anywhere to anywhere (apart from the doors that is, quite a few doors going from room to Bar/Dining Room/Breakfast room etc) I suspect that's why she took me along!!
The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them, really made you feel welcome, they certainly made our stay most enjoyable.
We had breakfast and dinner in the Hotel each day and the food was superb.
As I stated earlier, the Hotel is a little 'quirky' the rooms too. However, lovely and clean and with all the usual facilities you would expect. Bathroom the same with plenty of hot water.
The ONLY reason I have given 4 'stars' and not 5 was because the bed we had was very low and my partner had great difficulty getting in and out (especially out) which caused her a lot of discomfort. Unfortunately, the hotel was quite full and although the staff were concerned, had no other options for us at that time.
Overall, we do intend to come and stay again and next time I'm sure it will be a 5 star review.
