Stayed here overnight on the 20th May 2013 whilst doing the Pennine Way, location for Pennine Way walkers is perfect, the way passes a few yards away from the front door! Facilities are very good and the bedroom room was comfortable. Breakfast was up to scratch but there was a mix up over times, I was told breakfast starts at 8. When I walked in to the dining room at 0750 I found half a dozen people tucking into their breakfast already. When I asked for a packed lunch I was told that I may be better getting something from a nearby garage, this I did but it was not ideal. Otherwise the overnight was top notch and I would not hesitate in recommending it and staying there again.
