My wife and I had lunch here.
Several items were not available from the menu and a draught beer was not available.
Staff were very good and attentive without being intrusive. I started with the bread and hummus with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Very nice but £5? My wife had the soup of the day again very nice. For the main I had the scampi ( always a good way to find out if they use frozen produce or fresh) I have a feeling it was frozen albeit of a better quality than you would find in a chain pub. It was presented in a pretentious fashion in separate dishes on a plate that wasn't big enough! My wife had the sticky chilli chicken which she enjoyed but we could do better. We did not have a dessert.
To summarise, it is a fine place to eat particularly in a culinary wasteland like Widnes and in fact stands out against some weak competition. However I felt it was a little overpriced for the quality.
