Description: THE BLUE BELL INN The Blue Bell Inn is one of the very few 16th Century Inn's left. It was taken over by the current owners in July 2008. They introduced home cooked food, fine wines and a warm welcome. The popularity has lead to an extension being required to accommodate more dinning space. This creates space for another 60 diners in the restaurant, which has been designed and built keeping the 16th Century theme throughout. The restaurant is accessed directly from the large car park via a gently sloping ramp allowing wheelchair access, or through a new archway from the pub. We welcome families and have a dedicated childrens play area outside in the garden.

“Very good traditional food”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

Very nice food. Traditional farmhouse pub food. Chicken rossini was excellent. We did have to wait a very long time for food but food compensated the wait. Good atmosphere. Really worth a go.

“Cycling lunchtime stop-off”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

Been here several times as a lunchtime stop-off when cycling on a good weather saturday through great south cheshire countryside.

Eaten lunch both inside and out; Outside, what makes the beer garden great is that you are situated beside country lanes with little traffic except the odd tractor or two or three. Inside is basic country-style, why be different.

Website doesnt do the pub and menu justice, its this that could be improved on with very little effort.

“Good quality and service for a traditional inn”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

I have visited here a few times and thought I should provide a review. The food is lovely and good quality and the service efficient and friendly.

I always love the pie of the day but there is a good choice of menu and along with offering traditional English food there are other good options available.

In terms of layout of the pub it is suitable for wheelchair users and people who are less mobile. From the rear car park there is access via a ramp with double doors that can be opened for access, plus there is a disabled toilet that has all the access and space needed for wheelchairs.

If you live local or are passing and haven't yet tried here you should, much better than any of the chain pubs in my opinion.

“Birthday treat”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

I was taken to the Blue Bell Inn last night for my birthday. The service and quality was very good and an enjoyable evening was had by all our table. The staff were friendly and all the food and drinks were served promptly without being rushed a really good night out.
