Potters Barn is a very good idea and the children enjoyed themselves. I felt however that there were some things which could make the experience better and a bit more personal. The customer service was a bit lacking, we sometimes felt we didn't know what we were doing, although one of the owners was helpful, the other was a little bit too stand offish. They could do with some hand washing facilities or cloths upstairs, not just downstairs.
To encourage families to stay longer and to make the experience more enjoyable they could offer tea and cake for example. I did see a poster for hot drinks but they were of the "British Rail" in a plastic cup variery.
Having said all this, it was good value for money, one of the owners was very friendly, the children made some very good "works of art" and I will definitely go back for a try of the potters wheel.
