Lovely place to walk especially with your dog. Bit too busy to let dog off lead, but still lovely. No cafe unfortunately, but still worth a trip.

“Love walking my dogs around here”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Lovely walks and you can pick your own routes. Off the paths through the woods and doing some exploring, then a coffee and cake at the car park!

“Nice walking area.”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

Great to take the children and grandchildren to. A nice 20 minute walk around the quarry. Plenty of field space for ball games and picnic areas. There are facilities for ice creams but not much else.

“Popular picnic site”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

Enjoyable, pretty walks but as mentioned before lots of dogs !I don't have a problem with this but can understand others concerns. Take a picnic and sit near the water a lovely place to watch the birds and planes going over, can buy teas and coffees etc. from van near visitor centre.
