Booked Nunsmere for our anniversary and it was perfect. We had a corner room which was huge with 3 large windows and a bath the size of a barge. the restaurant meals were excellent value
If you want a nice walk around the grounds you can request their 2 dogs to accompany you!!
The staff were brill with nothing too much trouble
The hotel is in a great position for visits to port sunlight and the boat museum which both i recommend
we had a 2 night deal which included breakfast and evening meal and for £300 was a great deal for this quality of hotel .. cant wait to go back

Room Tip: we had a corner room which was huge presume the rest are as good

After our fourth visit dining only at Nunsmere I'm pleased to say it did not disappoint.
As expected the menu offered a super choice. Our food was cooked to perfection and was very well presented.
The service was flawless from start to finish and alll staff were extremely polite, helpful and efficient.
This beautiful victorian country house radiates a very homely relaxed atmosphere which is apparent the minute you walk through the door.
I highly recommend and we certainly will be returning again.

We visited Nunsmere by luck on a groupon deal and from the moment we arrived we felt really spoilt. Afternoon tea is delicius, all of the staff are thoughtful, helpful and attention to detail is great. We dined in the restaurant in the evening, food was very good and atmosphere in the restaurant was also good. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a friend for a nice relaxing treat away from it all.

This was the first time the five of us (4 x Adults & 1 x 12 Year old) but I do hope not the last we had been to Nunsmere Hall, as soon as we arrived we were greeted with a friendly receptionist who then after taking our details and sorting our rooms instructed another very helpful gentleman who walked with us to the car and took our luggage, this was well received as my father had hurt his back. He took us to our rooms. Wow!!! is the only expression you will have to go as I'm sure I can not do it justice, both rooms beautifully decorated, clean spacious. We had booked an afternoon tea which was a great selection of sandwiches, cakes & tea/coffee with jam & scones, after we sat in the Library while our 12 year old & father took one of the dogs from the hotel for a walk, which is an option our son enjoyed very much. At dinner we had book the 5 course taster meal ... you guessed it was splendid even our son enjoyed it. Throughout out the day nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Restful night sleep, down to a five star breakfast. Then a walk around the lovely grounds of the hotel with the lake and the swans idyllic. The only downside was we only stayed one night, would have no problem in recommending this hotel to anyone. Thank you Nunsmere staff our stay could not be improved in anyway.

Room Tip: I'm sure any room is a good room

We were recommended by friends to try Nunsmere Hall and went for lunch on Sunday. What a gorgeous setting. The staff could not have been more helpful , the wine list and menu were superb and the food lived up to the promise. We will definitely be back for more.

This was a special night, although we had a deal, we were upgraded to the bridal suite, had a super meal, lovely wine and friendly service. The heavy Snow just added to the romance, everything about it was fab. Thank you
