Owner description: PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH THE GARDENS ARE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, THE HALL IS ONLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON TUESDAYS, SUNDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS. Arley is a place of enormous character, charm and interest. Visitors are frequently struck by the warm and intimate atmosphere and the feeling that Arley is a much-cherished family home. The Gardens, which are amongst the finest in Britain, are outstanding for their vitality, variety and historical interest and are particularly celebrated for the magnificent double herbaceous border. The Hall is an impressive example of a Victorian country house built in the Elizabethan style.

“Lovely house”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

The house was a delight to walk around, well loved and warm feel.
Staff were very informative too. Can be a little daunting if you do not like staircases!
Gardens were good too although April is not best month!

“Pity about the craft fair!”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

We'd travelled a fair way & were looking forward to touring the house only to find most of it closed. The rest had its furniture removed to make room for the craft stalls. We enjoyed walking around the gardens though they must be really spectacular in summer.

“Gardening club”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We visited with our gardening club. Have visited in the summer months and really enjoyed it so thought a Christmas visit would be nice. It was as expected just perfect. Well worth a visit at anytime.

I had a special birthday party here. It was a lovely June evening and we were able to walk in the gardens.
