“Excellent food, service and staff”
Reviewed April 6, 2013 via mobile

I have been known to frequent the Antrobus arms but like to keep a low profile, the staff are always very pleasant, the food is excellent, and the choice of guest beers always changing and excellent! I would recommend to anyone. The log fire is lit during colder days and in warmer times the beer garden is exquisite with all the animals etc (goats , ducks, pheasants) it's must stop and enjoy place for food and or a quite drink!!!

“"Does what it says on the tin"”
Reviewed April 3, 2013

Live locally and eat here regularly with family.

The pub provides comfort but lacks style, it serves real pub fare, real ale and real fires but don't hope for much glamour beyond that - the decor is faded and in need of TLC.

The staff are always very friendly and service is excellent.

Food is average pub quality but not fine dining experience.

“Decent local pub with food”
Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

The AA is a great local pub that does decent food, all friendly, all fair VFM - slightly irritating when you go in without a table reservation to see swathes of tables empty, with 'reserved' tags on them, and by the time we've had a couple or three rounds, the tables are still empty - just seems daft to pre-reserve so far in advance, must be better management system to consider??

“Great atmosphere, good food”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

Having braved the terrible weather mid week and made our first visit to this country pub. The place had a real buzz and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The food was good, wholesome, homemade and traditional. For anyone looking for a filling meal try the Cottage Pie, it was huge!
The house red was fine, and there looked a good selection of beers.
The menu was limited, but for anyone looking for a traditional country pub, with simple home cooked food it's well worth a visit.

“A Real Gem of A Country Pub”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We have been here on a couple of occasions both midweek for club meetings in their function room. On both occasions we arrived at 6.30 pm to find the car park full!!! Once inside it was obvious why. A great atmosphere, good selection of beer with guest ales and a fantastic range of food,

On both occasions although the place was busy we did not have to wait long for our starters and main courses (no room for pud) The service and food was deserving of a 5 Star establishment. I will keep my review short pay them a visit and make your own mind up!!
