“Stockley Birds of Prey Centre - Great day out”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

I took my partner to Stockley Birds of prey centre this morning and I would highly recommend it. Gary who runs the centre is a great bloke and very knowledgable. Rory was also great and answered alot of our questions. The birds did not dissapoint and it was a lovely day. I brought from wowcher however if you can purchase directly on the website (just type in Stockley Farm birds of prey into google) it cuts out the middle man - who makes a chunk of profit. Would highly recommend.

“Delightful way to spend a couple of hours, good for kids and adults”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

My 13 year old son and I attended this attraction as participants and my wife came along as an observer (observer costs only £10, and gets the full experience other than handling the birds).

There were four others in the party aged from eight to sixty and we all had a fine time. Gary, the owner, is passionate about birds of prey and not only knew his subject very well, but was an interesting talker and friendly guide. We were able to handle many different types of birds of prey and even went for a walkabout with a couple of Harris Hawks, with them swooping down onto our gloved hands and getting their reward of a piece of meat.

The two hour session actually lasted for more than two and a half hours, but time seemed to zip by as the attraction was so absorbing.

The eight year old girl was as willing a bird handler as the rest of us, and it was clear that Gary has had plenty of experience working with young children.

Loads of photo opportunities.

Not far from J18 of the M6 motorway. However finding the place isn't the easiest, so I'd recommend anyone attending studies the Website directions (the Bird of Prey centre is part of the Stockly Farm complex alongside the stables).

Highly recommended for those with even a passing interest in birds, and particularly for family groups.

“A must see attraction”
Reviewed January 4, 2013 via mobile

A huge thank you to Gary. This was a great afternoon out with the teenagers. It's unusual to find an attraction to keep them entertained and that is informative and educational. The great thing about this attraction is the personal touch that you don't get at larger similar establishments. Definitely worth a visit.

“Fantastic Attraction”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

Big thanks to Gary and Pam for a crackin couple of hours learning all about the birds at Stockley Farm.

Loved handling and feeding the birds, especially Alex who's a real character, and seeing the hawks flying and hunting in the wild was amazing, so fast and graceful.

Would highly recommend a trip there.

“Birds of Prey Experience”

A wonderful experience. We had a great time. The falconers were extremely knowledgeable and had bags of enthusiasm. The birds were stunning and it was exciting to see them flying free.
