“Brilliant coffee shop combined with a charity outlet”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Light meals, coffee and cakes are excellent value. The venue is very welcoming as are the staff. As a bonus you have the charity shop on the second floor.

“Gorgeous little cafe”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

Swirly Whirlys was recommended to us by our neighbours, and I have to say it was very nice indeed, great menu, and although the pancakes were a little thick for my liking, they were nevertheless very tasty.

“Great food - fantastic cause”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

The food is well presented and served in good portions too.
Love the coffee - which as a big coffee fan is always a massive selling point to me.
However, this cafe supports the local hospice, St Luke's, and for that makes this a place to visit.
Thank you to all the volunteers who work here and make a terrific contribution to the community.

“Consistently good!”
Reviewed February 22, 2014 via mobile

Excellent crepes. I had Brie and gammon and it was delicious and generously filled. My husband had a sausage and mustard panini which he thoroughly enjoyed. There is a good choice on the menu and we have never been disappointed with our choice. Service is quick and the staff are always friendly. Highly recommended.

“Stunningly good coffee”
Reviewed November 6, 2013 via mobile

Visited when it first opened and thought there was a limited range of foods offered, but not now! Soup, sandwiches, cakes, and pancakes much better!!! Delightful staff and interesting gift items available, love the decor fits in very well. Looking forward to sitting in the garden on my next visit.
Well done, and all for charity, a brilliant venture, I would rate it as the best place in town, awards on its way!
