Description: Traditional Tea Shoppe In The Heart Of Nantwich Market Town

Molly's Tea Shoppe is an excellent place to go for freshly made afternoon tea, and delicious cakes. A friendly, traditional place, and a real treat to visit.

Afternoon tea consisted of plenty of salmon, ham and mustard, and BLT finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, and as much tea as we could drink.

At an earlier visit, I had an enormous slice of carrot cake, which I would have struggled to finish had it not been so moist and delicious.

We've been three times, and look forward to returning.

Thank you for your lovely comments, it's always great to hear that people like what we do. We love making our afternoon teas for people so we're really glad you enjoyed yours and hope that you'll come again for another (or just a tea and some cake if you prefer!) Have a great Christmas and hope to see you again soon.

I love going to Molly's Tea Shoppe! Real tea shop with no pretend! You can relax and enjoy freshly made delicious sandwiches, have a cup of tea or coffee, treat yourself to a selection of cakes for a reasonable price! Not written on the menu but advertised outside, don't be afraid to ask for afternoon tea! They ask you what bread you want and if there is anything you don't like (meat for vegetarians or just don't like cheese, that's fine!). The sandwiches were freshly made just for us. The bread was nice. We had BLT, ham and mustard, and salmon sandwiches. You may also choose between tea and coffee. All for £16 for two! Or £9 if you want to treat yourself. It is close to Nantwich museum which is nice to go after an afternoon tea.

Overall, friendly staff, weather you go everyday or on a special occasion, it a nice little place where to spend on your own or with friends and family!

Highly recommend! Make sure you come with cash you cannot pay by card as it is a small family business.

We visited Molly’s Tea Shoppe at the beginning of our visit to the Nantwich Food & Drink Festival and it was a perfect start to a really enjoyable day. We both had the Three Counties Breakfast, which consisted of a Staffordshire Oatcake filled with Cheshire cheese, scrambled eggs – (there must have been at least 3!) – served with bacon and topped with melted Shropshire blue cheese, with a small salad and a few Pringles. It really set us up for the day, and the cost was extremely reasonable. The helping was so generous, neither of us could manage every tasty morsel. I think the complimentary coffee (or one could choose tea) was a special offer for the Festival but the whole experience was like revisiting a genteel time gone by. The service is charming and efficient (free top-ups of the coffee) and the quality of the offerings superb – I have never seen such a choice of scones and the range of teas was also impressive. We were given small tastings of several teas before we left and would visit again next time we are in Nantwich. The title of the ‘Shoppe’ sounds a bit kitsch and it really doesn't need that ‘e’ on the end but we have absolutely nothing but praise for the charming setting and faultless service.

Visited today. Had a lovely lunch of chilli, rice and salad, followed by lovely fresh cake and tea. Those serving and preparing the food were very friendly, quick and attentive. A busy little tearoom with a good choice of loose leaf teas by Taylors. No-one minded the baby in his pram. Will definitely visit again.
