We stayed with our two children and were made to feel very welcome, comfortable and relaxed. Lovely meal in the restaurant on the first night and great room service with DVD on the second. All very exciting for the kids and we were able to unwind from the long car journey. Staff all very professional and great service was not intrusive. Children and parents all made to feel special. Thank you Rookery Hall!

We visited Rookery Hall at the weekend and it was very nice. The food was excellent and if you pay a little extra and go on the Gourmet Break, you can have anything on the menu without supplements. Champagne and Canapes to start with.... we felt very special. Would recommend this as a special treat to anyone who enjoys good food.

Was here to celebrate a family wedding. What a wonderful venue - beautiful location - excellent facilities and truly outstanding staff.............However, during our 2 night stay we were constantly denied access to our room because the keycards refused to work. This was variously blamed on the check in staff not allocating the correct dates of our stay, keeping the cards next to a mobile phone (no, card was always in a different pocket), and the throwaway line - we have been having problems with these cards all day. The problem continued into the second day and the following morning. Getting into the room was a lottery (which I didn't win). When we could get into the room the TV did not work and the room make up service was poor, even toilet rolls were not changed. A potentially great stay bugged by annoying technical details.

I spent the day/night here along with my aunt as a treat.
We arrived nice & early as our 1st treatment was booked for 10am & id requested early check in. Our room was ready for us apon arrival & were shown up to our room by a very helpful member of staff. We also made our dinner booking while we checked.

The room was just lovely, we were staying in a twin double exc room, which had 2 lovely big double beds, good sized bathroom big TV & nice chilled bottles of water waiting for us.

There was also nice fluff robes for us hanging up so we could walk over to the spa.

The treatments we had in the spa where amazing & our lunch was also including in our full days pampering which included a full body massage, facial, indian head massage, body scrub & then we used all the spa's pools steam room & sauna, which was all just lovely.

We had a lovely meal in dinningroom & there was a lady travelling alone so my aunt & me got her to join us at the table & we all ate togethe. The food was cooked to perfection & the wine kept flowing by the very attentive waiters who re-filled your glass the minute you put it down empty.

We where both in bed by just after 10pm so relaxed after all of our treatments.

The next morning we both used the bathroom with the hydro shower & TV above the bath ready for our next round of treatments on our hands & feet.

The breakfast was very nice & everything was cooked to order but the amount of fruit & different types of yogurts juices etc was very good & good selection.

We were both relaxed we ended up staying for lunch as neither of us wanted to leave.

We will be back as this place is so amazing & relaxing.

Room Tip: Rooms amazing especially the hydro shower. Spa was the best so relaxing didnt want to leave, wish i lived closer so i could become a member.

Many thanks for your feedback in relation to your recent experience here at the hotel.

We have spent a great deal of time and money over recent years investing in the people and the property and creating the wonderful bedrooms. It is very pleasing when we receive such feedback which shows that our guests are appreciating the efforts that have been put in over the years.

Myself and the team look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel in the very near future.

Regards,

Gwyn Jones.

We had recently got married on the South Coast, and wanted to get away from it all for a few days for a 'mini-moon' where we could relax and enjoy each other's company away from the madness that surrounds weddings! We found Rookery Hall and booked it primarily due to the positive comments on Trip Advisor - and it certainly lived up to the reputation and experiences of other guests!
We stayed for 3 nights, and even though we had put two reservations in (as we had a booking through Secret Escapes), the reception staff - particularly a lady called Holly - were able to combine our reservations so that we did not have to check out and check back in again! After mentioning that we were on our honeymoon, they even managed to upgrade us to a bigger room! Even that alone would be worth 5 stars, but our stay continued to get better and better. We were shown to our rooms by a knowledgeable young concierge (Daniel), and the room was brilliant! Huge bed, lots of storage space, sofas, usual tea/coffee facilities (with a huge selection of teas etc), trouser press, iron, ironing board, fridge (inc bottles of still and sparkling water), lots of info about things to do, an amazing bathroom (with a TV above the bath!). Very impressed!
We had booked dinner with reception for 8:30 that evening in the a la carte restaurant, so we decided to explore the grounds a bit before heading to the spa. The Spa facilities are excellent, very clean, well organised and staffed with friendly folk - nothing was too much trouble, felt very relaxed, just what we wanted! The dinner was incredible, and the service spot on for our special getaway.

The breakfast was superb, lots of choice and we even custom ordered our own breakfasts one morning - the chef was only too happy to oblige with my request of pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup!

The location is perfect for exploring Cheshire, with nearby Nantwich worth a poke about and a local pub - The Badger - a few miles up the road in Church Minshall well worth a look as we ate their one night and it was brilliant!

Our experience was great, and we would definitely head back there. In fact, we are planning to head their for our 1st anniversary, and we have no doubt it would be as perfect as our stay this time!

Hope that helps persuade you!
