“Lovely Atmosphere”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Love the ambiance of this restaurant. It is hidden away in Hospital Street and is well worth visiting. We thoroughly enjoy the food provided and the welcome offered.

“A peaceful haven in busy Nantwich.”
Reviewed September 27, 2013

We moved back to the UK just under a year ago and, having lived in Melbourne for over 10 years, liked and enjoyed the 'cafe culture'. We were delighted to find Le Cafe De Paris through friends and have been regular weekly visitors ever since. The coffee is good and the food good value. The variety is just what is needed, nothing that is going to take an hour to prepare and not going to cost a fortune. It's greatest charm, aside from the Owner who is a passionate Frenchman, is the setting enjoying both inside, outside but under cover and fully outside. Without exception, every other Cafe in Nantwich that has an outside area is on a public thoroughfare which is fine if you want the World to see you have a coffee and/or you want your head blown off by the wind. Even in Winter You can sit outside under cover at Le Cafe De Paris.

“Not quite Paris”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Having read recent reviews we decided to call for a mid afternoon snack. We were a little disappointed. The setting is quiet enough and the layout is relaxing. However, we felt the luncheon we ordered was nothing special. The pate tasted shop bought and the served toast seemed to be ordinary sliced bread. In Nantwich there are so many quality bakers, a visit to any one of them for the bread would have made a big difference to the luncheon. After all Paris is renown for the quality of the bread!

My partner summed up our view with her observation that we might go back, just to check whether we had visited on an off day...

“Lovely little courtyard cafe”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

We stopped here for brunch and did not expect what we found (given it was at the end of what looked like a small alley) which was a lovely courtyard cafe that became tardis like when we entered, with three different areas to sit in on top of the outside courtyard area. The atmosphere was relaxed and child friendly. The staff were great, willing to change menu items to suit, not pushy and very friendly.

My son had a milkshake topped with whipped cream - his face was an absolute picture when it turned up! He declared it was the biggest, creamest milkshake he had ever had... The toasted baguette was OK as was the toasted teacake, served with plenty of butter. However the freshly cooked chocolate crepes served with a small bowl of whipped cream and a large fresh strawberry were an absolute delight.

We will be going back for lunch at some point to try the unusual paninis on offer and a cake or two!
