We have never stayed in such a lovely B & B as this. The proprietors, Steven and Ruth, were very welcoming and great hosts. The bedrooms (we used the Primrose and the Cabin room) were superb, with everything you could possibly need in them and more, and very tasteful decor. Breakfasts were great and the surroundings lovely. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful gardens in the evenings and the menagerie of cute animals - fantastic!

What a great find! My parents have a canal boat at the nearby marina and I wanted a night in a B&B close to them. The owner was extremely welcoming, despite my very late arrival at 11pm. The double room was absolutely beautiful, and the private bathroom (although not ensuite) was stunningly clean and fresh. The room included a wealth of lovely different teas, coffees, herbal teas etc , sweets, a small bar of choccie, a bar of soap and was perfectly arranged and comfortable. The breakfast (although i didn't stay long enough for a cooked version) had so much to choose from that I had three different types of cereal in one bowl, plus a handful of fresh blueberries. Could have had fresh strawberries, yoghurts, etc. I was even sent on my way with a doggie bag of toast as I was in a bit of a rush. This was a great value and top quality B&B that I would definitely recommend and return to. I'm usually quite hard to please! Fiona www.fionaoutdoors.co.uk

Steven & Ruth are so welcoming we are looking for an excuse to return. Superb quality room and wonderful breakfast. Ideal location if attending wedding at Rookery Hall and good location for many Cheshire tourist sights.

We stayed at Primrose Cottage with owners Steve & Ruth at the weekend while attending a family wedding at Rookery Hall. They were so helpful, allowing us to check-in early so that we wouldn't miss any of the wedding.
The accomodation was beautiful with lots of little extra touchs (nice toiletries, sweets and chocolates in the room) and every where was lovely and clean. Breakfast was the best we have had in any hotel or b&b, with every kind of cereal, fresh fruit etc., and the cooked breakfast was very good.
I ordered some packed lunches, as we had a long drive home and didn't want to buy motorway food. Steve made us up an excellent value lunch with lots to pick from, much better than anything you would get on the motorway!
We were sorry we only stayed one night and we would recommend this b&b to anyone.

Primrose Cottage is situated in the heart of the Cheshire countryside and is a haven of peace and quiet whilst being within easy reach of Manchester, Chester, and lots of tourist attractions. Ruth and Steven have a solid commitment to making your stay memorable with their attention to detail never seen before in a B&B. Their standards of cleanliness and provision of the Best breakfast are consistently THE BEST. The atmosphere is friendly with a will to go that extra mile for your comfort.

Primrose Cottage was originally recommended to me by a friend.
Each time I visit Nantwich I make a point of staying there.
The setting, rooms, facilities and the customer service are all excellent.
Steven and Ruth always offer a warm welcome – even when I arrive late (as I often do). They're very flexible in accommodating guests needs (arrival times, bookings, etc).
Breakfast is great with a good choice and generous portions.
Pricing is more than fair.
If you’re in the area for any reason (JOGLE, Reaseheath College, Nantwich…) it’s a top place to stay.

Room Tip: Book early
