“Highly Recommended!”

Lovely welcome, spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom and a freshly cooked breakfast. What more could you ask from a B&B. First Class.

We stayed here as a stopover on a cycle ride. Rooms were v clean and comfy. Owners very nice and happy to run us down to the local pub for evening meal. Breakfast excellant , cooked to order and really set us up for the day. Bikes securely locked away. Rooms were a little cold to start (untill heating came on) but we should have just said something and I have no doubt that they would have adjusted it for us. I got the impression nothig would have been too much trouble.

I stayed for one night, breaking my journey down the M6 (10 minutes or so away), and was astonished at the quality of the place considering the price I paid. My room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower-room extremely well fitted out. But the absolute highlight had to be the breakfast. WOW! Compared to the tepid buffet you get at the chains, the fresh-out-of-the-pan fry up that you get here is just wonderful. Honestly, it's was probably the best breakfast I've ever had, just fantastic. The family who run the place are very friendly, I hope I'll be able to go back soon.

My one night stay in October was very comfortable indeed. The bedroom was clean, fresh and warm and the bathroom was absolutely sparkling. I appreciated the provision of a box of tissues in the bedroom and quality shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom - nice touches that really make a difference. I was told that breakfast (on a Sunday morning) could be any time I wanted, which meant I could have a very welcome lie-in. Breakfast was fresh and hot, with home-made jam, thickly cut bacon and the most enormous sausage I have ever seen. The owners and staff cannot do enough for you. When I arrived, running a little late for a wedding, I was immediately offered a lift! The B&B is attached to a farm shop and tea room, so there's lots of parking and plenty of home-made cake on offer, and you must try the locally-produced ice-cream :)

We stayed at Hopley House for 2 nights and were so pleased with our room. It was absolutely immaculate, very fresh, beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. The bathroom was one of the best I have ever seen in a B&B and the breakfast in the morning was second to none. The owners were extremely good hosts and made sure we wanted for nothing.
I can absolutely, definitely recommend this place to anyone and I look forward to staying again next time we are in the area.

All members of staff were very welcoming without being over effusive and we were particularly pleased to be offered tea and a piece of cake in the tea room after we had been shown to our rooms. The room was a good size and well-appointed and the beds were very comfortable. Parking was very convenient and the breakfast was excellent. We thought the small residents' lounge was very comfortable and we were very impressed with the residents' kitchen. We will definitely go back to Hopley House.
