Bridge Farm B&B

I stay in a lot of single rooms at the price I paid and this was by far the best. At this price point you often do not get a window, yet alone one with a view over fields, with a great choice of teas and coffees, great hospitality and an awesome breakfast. Stay here and not in a faceless chain - you will not regret it.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere unique not faceless!

This is a beautifully presented upmarket B&B in a pretty 18th Century farmhouse which is spotless. Breakfast was very good though being on a working farm it might be a bit early for some. Lovely bedroom with sitting area outside with lots of information, maps, etc. Hostess charming and very helpful.

We have stayed here at the farm for several years now. Anne has always made us welcome. We stay in the double room which is always clean and very comfortable. we never fail to have a good nights sleep. the room has tea/coffee facilities plus all the usual things you would expect and a lovely en suite. The farmhouse is very charming with lots of character, it's a working farm with cows and farm dog to boot. We have often had a wonder round the farm and surrounding lanes. There are many pubs within a few miles of the Farm so you are never short of places to eat and Holmes Chapel itself is a delightful small town. There are many places to visit, Anne keeps a folder with helpful information leaflets so you are never short of ideas. The breakfast choices on offer are to die for I believe mostly locally farmed produce is used and I promise, you will not be disappointed there are always alternatives to the traditional cooked breakfast if you prefer. We always look forward to returning. I'm sure if you choose to stay here you will feel the same.

My wife and I (plus dog) have stayed at Bridge Farm on numerous ocassions over the past 18 monthe, as it is convenient for visiting my elderly Aunt in nearby Sandbach. We have been thoroughly spoilt on each ocassion. Anne is extremely helpful and attentive, and the breakfast is always superb. The rooms are all very comfortable, and the farm is full of character, helped by Susu the farm's dog, who always gives us a warm welcome. There are any number of walks in the immediate vicinity, which our dog always enjoys. The nearby village of Goostrey offers two super pubs serving excellent meals in the evenings, and if you're feeling energetic, is within walking distance.
Highly recommended.

Stayed here last night with a friend. Given a room upgrade on arrival (after the lovely Anne had picked us up from the train station!), and we had a delightful room. Plenty of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, biscuits, towels, and the most comfy bed I've slept in for ages! The farmhouse is delightful, and in a beautiful setting. It was incredible to be so close to the Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope...(in field behind farm!!) Anne was the perfect hostess, made sure we had taxi numbers for getting to Jodrell Bank, and even after a mix up on my part with clocks going back this morning...which meant we missed breakfast time...she came up to our room to check we were ok, and still provided us with the most delicious breakfast!
I just wish we could've stayed longer...and can heartily recommend Bridge Farm to everyone!
I'm going to visit again, and take my family!
A wonderful place to stay!

MY wife and I stayed at Bridge Farm to take advantage of the last of the Autumn sun and go ride our bikes round the lanes of Cheshire. We arrived a tad early and were greeted warmly, shown around and were presented with a warming mug of tea each - a lovely start to a very cold day. We went riding and got back mid afternoon and safely locked up our bikes and made use of the quirky but very comfortable room. In the evening we walked to Goostry, dodging the tractors pulling huge carts of potatoes, and had a fantastic meal and a few pints at the Crown. We walked back and needed a torch every now and then even with the full moon to retire to a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was varied and really tasty - especially the local produce. We had a great stay and I made a new friend who will keep you busy for ages!!

My husband and I stayed here with our grandson, specifically because the stunning telescope, which we went to see the following day, is adjacent to the farmhouse and is visible from the landing windows and grounds.
As it happens, Anne and her family could not have done more to make our visit most memorable. We were given beautiful, immaculate bedrooms with plentiful supplies of towels, flannels, toiletries, tea, coffee, chocolate-making facilities in both rooms, biscuits and fresh milk. We even had complimentary bottles of water provided in the guests' fridge. There are also flat-screen TVs and free Internet access in the bedrooms.
The breakfasts are magnificent with everything you could possibly wish for from porridge to black pudding and filter coffee.
Suggestions were made as to where we might eat our evening meal and we were pleased with the Egerton Arms at Chelford.
Anne went out of her way to ensure that our grandson, who has never previously stayed in his own room, was happy with the arrangements.
We will most definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
