Have eaten at many F+B's, this particular one offers good food and good service. Having salad instead of potatoes/fries is not a good option as the salad is rather minuscule but the steaks and the wraps are delicious. F+B's in general is good as you can see the standard of cleanliness of the cooking as the kitchen is open. The only negatives I would point out are that cleanliness of the loos are not always up to standard and the time it takes to pay your bill is rather long.
It is an excellent place for families to visit as they really take care of the children, but it can be a bit noisy during school holidays

We called in here for an evening off from cooking during our stay at the Cheshire Oaks Caravan Club site. My husband thought it would be a nice treat for me.

Although Frankie and Bennys are expensive occasionally you are lucky enough to get a good meal.

To be perfectly honest we wished we hadn't bothered. It took forever to have orders taken, get food, pay etc. The food was poor, cold and not up to even the worst F&Bs we've had before! It was a waste of money and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

There was none of the usual F&Bs atmosphere or music to enjoy.

If you go there, good luck, you'll need it!

Tend to pop in on Sundays for Breakfast. Can't complain, great value and good quality food.

Only downside is they are very slow at serving coffee and tea. Is supposed to be unlimited, but by the time first drink arrives you have nearly finished breakfast. Then there's an excruciating wait for another one (in excess of 20 minutes), so more often than not end up just having the one drink. Staff say its because each table gets put in a queue to wait for drinks, so can be bit of a wait. Not had this problem at any other F&B's I have been to for breakfast, even when busy, so be good if they can look in to it.

We went for breakfast as we were staying in nearby hotel.
We were offered a table under speakers that were on full volume and the waitress got shirty when we asked for a table further away.
Order for drinks was quick but we then waited 1/2hr for our food order to be taken.
Eventally went to the kitchen to order and was todl by manageress to sit down and wait.
Food arrived reasonably quickly when ordered but poached eggs were rawin middle and bearnaisse sauce tasted as if it had vinegar added.
Side order of hash browns wern't included and manageress insisted we hadn't ordered.
She delivered them after we had eated and they were dripping in grease.
After she finished with us she then hada go at a couple of ladies who had entered by side entrance (at instruction of one of her waitressess).
Definitely the worst F & B restaurant and by far the worst restaurant manageress we have ever encountered.

I have eaten her once or twice, both times with my 2 girls, aged 8 and 5 and their friends. They love the food and the experience. Highly superior to taking them to maccy's!
