Court Farm Country House B&B
Reviewed December 12, 2012

Quite simply the best B&B I have ever visited! Mostly it's down to Julie's warm hospitality but there's also the large and comfy bedroom, delicious full English Breakfast, and the quiet country setting. I shall stay again and fully recommend to anyone else.

My partner and I stayed at Julie's B&B for 2 nights in November 2012 whilst attending a wedding in a nearby hotel. My verdict is simply, Excellent! This beautiful house, set in off the road, is located in a quiet village consisting of only 15 houses. It was originally the area court house, and Julie and her husband have restored it superbly. It is also handy for the various attractions in the area. Julie made us very welcome on arrival - we had coffee in her beautiful kitchen in front of a lovely warm wood burner, whilst watching the rabbits and hedgehogs in the garden. Our room was great - beautifully decorated and very clean. Julie's breakfasts were terrific. I would highly recommend Court Farm. Thanks Julie making us so welcome.

Myself and my husband stayed for 4 nights at Court Farm, the location is fantastic, peaceful at night but a short drive to various attractions. Julie was a wonderful host with a lot of knowledge on where to eat and visit. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a huge bathroom with a lovely free standing bath and a separate power shower. The view around the farm was lovely with rabbits playing in the grounds and squirrels gathering food. The breakfast was gorgeous, my husband will definitely miss Julie's cooked breakfast. I cannot recommend this place highly enough

We stayed in the self catering cottage in the grounds of the main house for 4 nights and would highly recommend it. We have a young daughter and find staying self catering much easier than hotels so were delighted to find somewhere so lovely offering a short break in the summer. The cottage was clean, well equipped and a perfect location for visiting the blue planet aquarium, Cheshire Oaks, getting the ferry across to Liverpool and visiting family in nearby Wrexham. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Court Farm in June 2012. It is a lovely house with super hosts.
It is set in a quiet location, yet close enough to road and rail links to many different places and attractions. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts are excellent.
Julie was very helpful with the recommendation to visit Chester by rail (railway station in the next village) and by suggesting places on the Wirral to visit.
Parking is very safe and secure which is always welcome when staying at places.
This is one of the best B&B's we have stayed at.

Julie and Martin are the perfect hosts at this gorgeous B&B. The property is very old and elegant but with a very homely feel. We stayed for two nights in March and loved the place. We were welcomed on the Friday night with a reviving cup of tea and given lots of helful advice on where to eat and the best way to travel around the area. The room we stayed in was charming, spotless and had a huge ensuite bathroom with free standing bath. Breakfast each morning was cooked to order with eggs from the couples own chickens.

Really recommend this place.

We booked on the strength of other reviews and we weren't disappointed. Julie made us welcome instantly and offered plenty of suggestions for places to eat nearby. The rooms were spacious and spotless with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was cooked to order and was as fantastic too.

We found plenty to do in the surrounding area and are already planning a return visit to use as a base for travelling into Liverpool on the train to see some of the museums.
