“Good value for money”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2013

This is an average carvery but the price is excellent! They have removed the beef now as this meat was more expensive than the gammon or turkey! There are further options available and chips! Depending when you go some of the food seems like it has been standing a long time but if you can choose something else that's your choice. The staff are really friendly and makes the visit worthwhile! I do use this eatery from time to time but its not magnificent!

“Sunday lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 21, 2013

When visiting my sister we always visit for a carvery. To be honest the value is excellent especially compared with carveries where I live in the South of England.
The Sunday luch was £7.29 and during the week as low as £4.99 on special offers.
It is very basic and gets crowded but in all honesty it suits our needs.
We visited and had the choice of Gammon,Turkey,Beef or could have had the Lamb Shank which looked a little sorry for itself sitting in the hot tray for a long time.
Food was hot and tasty, and well worth the money.
A La Carte it is not,but you could do worse than to pass this by
