I ate here one Friday night with family and friends. Booked the table, all good.
I had the Dine Special selection to start. It consisted of a samosa, an onion bhaji, a sheek kebab and 2 chicken tikka! My main course was Kashmiri chicken. We ordered a selection of rice's and nan breads. I loved the Kashmiri! It had a lovely fruity flavour. The banana pieces were a treat for me, but my daughter thought it too fruity. (After such a large starter I ended up taking half my curry home for lunch the next day!) I also enjoyed some of the mushroom rice and the pilau rice. The peshwari nan was lovely. A nice coconut taste. (I even had some of that to take home too!)
All I can say is the staff were efficient, friendly and polite. The food was tasty and the price was good. We had a very enjoyable evening here.
The only niggle during the visit was at the end of the evening. The speed at which they cleared the table cloth, napkins, etc.! We were still sitting at the table finishing our drinks when they came to take the napkins, cloth's, etc away. (Everywhere else I've eaten they wait until the customers get up and leave before clearing the table cloths.) It was something I've never experienced before. We'd not long since finished eating. It wasn't because the restaurant was full or they needed the table. It was strange, and a little off putting. I've put it down to enthusiastic staff eager to clean, but it definitely does not feel customer friendly.
