"Growing up in Germany and having worked in many different restaurants/bars in Europe. My aim is simple. As well as pleasing my diners and ensuring they have an extraordinary dining experience, I want to bring a sense of enthusiasm and passion to the catering trade. I feel that the UK curry industry overall has changed over a number of years, and things have somewhat come to a standstill. Innovation does not mean removing basic principles of Indian dining..." Cannot fault this restaurant , I eat here at least once a week , the staff get to know you by name and greet you at the door, yes it is a small restaurant and quiet at times , but this is great , in a group you can hear yourself talk , what you go a restaurant for is good food at a good price and this is what you get , first course is your poppadoms and dips , second is a choice of starters ie chicken tikka , prawn puri , tandoori chicken , onion Bahjis (this is just what I've tried others to choose from), third course is your choice of curry and this comes with rice or chips or nan bread , fourth course is a nice tray of fresh coffee and cream or milk , I have never had a complaint about my food and always walk with a smile , I have taken friends and work colleagues here and they now return with their families , worth a visit .

“OK food but no atmosphere”
Reviewed August 28, 2013 via mobile

The food was OK, not much taste to the two curry's we ordered but the rice, nan bread ect was nice. The starter was ok too. When we went in, there was at least 8 other empty tables set up but we got sat at a table that wasn't set up and we got knives, forks and plates just placed on the table.
We had the 4 courses for a set price and we had the poppadom and it had a hair in one of the sauces. All in all ok, but probably wouldn't go back.

“Very quiet restaurant”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

The food was OK but there was no atmosphere as we were the only customers in - it was about 8pm - and we felt a little uncomfortable as the waiter hovered nearby all the time. We have not paid a return visit.

“Average Indian”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

I love going to Indian restaurants as it's my favourite eating out venue, his venue was recommended to us by the local hotel we stayed in,

On arrival, the staff were well presented and friendly, the decor needed some updating, but all nice and clean, the food was average for an Indian, always very hot which is a great bonus as it must be cooked fresh (didn't taste microwaved) however not a great depth of taste to it and almost felt like it was covered in some kind of sauce as opposed to normal tikka,

The staff were attentive although long gaps between portions but ample to eat, I would eat here again but certainly not rushing back
