We had drinks here and didnt try any food. However we were sat by the stairs where food was being brought up past from the kitchen and there were some super tasty looking things coming by. The 'hanging kebabs' looked excellent.
The bar was upmarket and drinks prices reflected this. Having said that the staff were friendly and welcoming and there was a relaxed informal feel to the place that made you want to stay a while longer. We spotted a couple of famous faces in here but obviously didnt spoil their night by saying anything to them!

Even in a village of plentiful excellent restaurants covering a range of cuisines, a new Restaurant opens with a sparkle, innovative interior designs, imaginative food and drink presentation, a drinks menu not only suitable both for alcoholic and non alcoholic consumers but exciting for both too.
The quality of the food was excellent with wide enough range for most palates without being overbearing.Reception and table service with a smile.
There was a range of seating as well enabling cosy couples or large parties. On occasion there is live music. Is there a downside? £35 for Mumm champagne, but it's not every day one celebrates friends' engagement.

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a kid-free Saturday lunch and came here as we were both big fans of no.15. Lovely ambience, very friendly staff and delicious quick eats. Fab burger and a great roast chicken sandwich. Music cold have been a touch quieter, but everything else was spot on.

Although a little out of the way, we came here with friends. Excellent selection of drinks behind the bar and great bar staff who know their stuff!

Can be a tad too busy but 50% of the floor space is taken up by the restaurant. The bar staff are great so getting served was not an issue!

However, all in all a great night and well worth the trip!

Booked a table a few days in advance for 7.15pm Saturday 19th January , got a phone call checking we were coming in the afternoon.Arrived in good time place was buzzing things looked good, however we finally got our table over 1 hour late!!!!! given a free drink whopee...Found choice on menu very limiting not easy to read in low light , presentation bit of a gimic.Eventually I had the salmon starter ok , burger & fries served in a wooden tray!! had much better at "Burger King " pretty dry tastless ,partner had chicken kebab which comes hanging .When we got the bill there was 20% discounted due to our long wait ,the two " free " drinks were not free after all on the bill.We were told there was a new menu coming out shortly !!!! Would suggest calling Gordon Ramsey for a Hells Kitchen visit, cannot believe there was a chef there clearly could not cope or was the place just over booked .....Should have gone to Gusto, had a great night out the night before at Crazy Wendys Thai restaurant in West Didsbury .
Would go to the Botanist again only for a drink, restaurant big no no.
