I attend the Saturday market place every Saturday. There's a great range of fresh local produce and and a fabulous pet stall thats sells great a range of healthy pet foods and toys. Dog beds treats biscuits harnesses etc.
The other stalls are a little disappointing as there isn't a great variety only cheap bad quality handbags (mine broke within 30mins of purchasing)
The main plus side is a wonderful burger van that cooks great range of sausages breakfast rolls veggie burgers bacon etc etc. Always with friendly smiles and engaging in conversation with their customers its definitely the hub of the market place. I had to be awkward and ask for no bacon fat yet was not made to feel like it was an issue (some places can) not greasy full of flavour great value considering the doorstep(really thick cut bread) sandwich with sausage and bacon is only £2:80!

The Wisbech market place is unusual in that it hosts market traders six days per week. Whilst the traditional market days of Thursday and Friday remain as the days with most traders there are plenty of traders on the other days.
Sunday is the only day that traders are not present on the market place. Stalls offer a wide range of local produce and goods. Fruit and vegetables are supplied by a number of different traders and there are large fish, shellfish and samphire, meat and eggs, clothing, DIY, DVD, soft furnishings, hand bags, jewellery and gold and silver dealers and watch repairers too.
The market place hosts a Christmas market, Moon markets and a range of cultural events. There are a wide range of shops, public houses, restaurants, retailers and other businesses located around the market place and many of the buildings are of architectural importance.
The Rose and Crown hotel and restaurant and nearby buildings contain parts that are some of the oldest in the town.

The Thursday market is quite large and as a trader leaves or retires a replacement quickly appears to fill the vacant stall as happened when a bread and cake trader left to take up a slot on another market.
Some large clothing stalls now on the market as well as specialists eg a stall supplying tutus and dance dresses etc.
Still the long time traditional market traders - fish, meat and eggs, fruit & vegetables, pet food, flower and plants as well as silver & gold dealers and watch repairers.
Several hot food and drinks wagons present when I visited.

The market has a wide range of stalls. The local produce is really fresh. Lots of tea shops and coffee shops near by, not forgetting the pubs and hotels e.g. The Rose and Crown hotel and The Case & The Wheatsheaf PHs.
Thursdays and Saturdays have the most stalls.
Seasonal markets at Christmas.
