“A little gem of a place”

Paxton Pits Nature Reserve

We spend many hours walking to and around the pits. Whatever the season there is always wildlife to see from Otters to deer and nightingales. May is my favourite time the nightingales singing are wonderful. There is a lovely visitor centre where you can get tea, coffee, snacks and ice cream as well as bird food and feeders.

This is a lovely place with something for everyone, well worth a visit.
